The Day Came with A blessing.

The Came With A Blessing

This morning I was intentional about praying before the start of work, even though I was still exhausted.

It’s been the norm for sometime now; I wake up around the same time between 4:00 am to 4:45am, even when I sleep late. All in hopes of beating traffic.

However, A few years ago, this was far from my story … I got to work with just a few minutes to spare or some minutes after 8 am.

I disliked the feeling I had anytime I got to work late so I made an effort to change this pattern and this worked In my favour because it’s become an easy habit. I now get to work an hour or two before work starts.Meaning on certain days I even get to work between 5:30am to 6am.

As I made this prayer I was conscious of my belief, what I mentally affirmed while saying those words … And I particularly remember saying ‘all to your Glory’.

Well the day was tedious , but I had grace for the demanding tasks of each moment. There was someone available right at the time I needed help and this made it even better.

In recent time I have come to understand grace as an opportunity leveraged at the right time , by the right intentions and through the right source(GOD).

So tonight I am counting my blessings, naming the joy the day held despite the flood of activities and demands. I am particularly counting the joy of great friendship and the freedom that comes with laughing at yourself in seemingly embarrassing situations.

As Bash took pictures of Calia and I on the roof top balcony at the close of work, little did we know that, we had a little audience in the training suite.

I was embarrassed for just a moment, but the reality of what happened made me laugh my hearts out. Calia didn’t help matters she was so embarrassed that I had to laugh at her expense .

Oh! what a day, the simple joys we have when we are intentional with prayer, the simple joys we have when we choose to consistently work on our embarrassing weaknesses and oh the joys we have when we laugh at those things that chip off a bit of our ego…. Only to remind us how human we are …. There are glory bubbles everywhere , Gods glory seen in mere men who trust his grace!
